" AmericanHort ’s one-year Cultivate tradeshow is an important show for us where we put on video display our new products that hit the marketplace the following year . While we do our first institution at the California Spring Trials , it is often hard to get some of our products bulge and in bloom . ( exclusion is ' Red Lark ' – See our military post on Facebook ; it looked amazing ) . Our presence at Cultivate is often a little bit more theatrical than at CAST as well . Without further ado , here is our booth . "

A web log save by Seth Reed , Sales and Marketing Manager at Darwin Perennials .

" We had four main messages on display . The first , as you might anticipate , was our Veronica Skyward serial . We had a sweet-scented set of staircases that spiraled … skyward … get it ! The blue and pink on display get a heap of attention . We have been selling the Moody Blues serial for quite some time and had that on video display so that attendee could see how much tumid the Skyward are . "

" The second message was our shadowiness solutions , which was created using a shade sail drop anchor by the staircases as posts . In this display , we focused on our young Polemonium ' Golden Feathers ' and Brunnera ' Frostbite ' by identify them in the center of our shade bed . Attendees liked how they tote up a whole newfangled stratum of brightness level to the shaded bench . beleaguer those plants were our new launches from last yr : Lysimachia ' Night Light ' and ' Firefly , ' Heuchera Carnival Burgundy Blast and Cinnamon Stick , and Heuchera Big Top Caramel Apple . People are in love with the color of the Cinnamon Stick . "

" The third message was a pushcart presentation prove our new card of Echinacea Sombrero Poco ™ series . This series has all the same swell uniformness , exceptional forking , heavy flower numeration , hardiness , and first - year anthesis capability of the Sombrero series but is more compact . This display was meant to show how you could fit more on a rack show , maximizing the number of plants you could get into the storage . And while we did n’t have a presentation on this , this serial is also a great alternative for combo planters . "

The " other " new intros expose are not lesser plant life , but none of them fit into a larger series or assemblage .

Sedum What a Doozie – The tri - color look is exceptionally attractive , and the pots were full . This plant life has shown great constancy , which you do n’t always find with similar works .

" And then there was our BONUS message – the Delphinium Red Lark display . Do I even need to say anything about the plant ? No , I do n’t think so . "

" However , two very noteworthy things pass at the show . The first was that we receive the " Retailers Choice Award " for exciting new products . "

" And our plants were STOLEN ! ! ! But for material ! We had designate to bring the plant back with us . They were sitting on our showing . Chris , Darren , and I all turned around to put a tray of flora on a stand , and when we turned back around , the plants were gone . We have turned off for no longer than a minute . There was no trace of them anywhere . "
