The Horticultural Trades Association ( HTA ) has recognise the grandness of research and mart insights and horticultural advice to members with two fresh appointments . Dave Denny has been promote to the newly created role of Director of Research & Insights and Martin Simmons will take on a novel attitude as Head of Horticulture .

Dave Denny , previously Futures & Sustainability Manager , will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and advert HTA Board group meeting . The HTA has identified data and insights as a key proposition for member time value – in terms of providing market and industry data to help them with their business enterprise developing , to increase our industriousness leadership on industry trends and to help heighten our representation to political science . Dave will also continue to develop the HTA ’s Sustainability Roadmap .

While Martin Simmons will continue to cover up the Director of Membership theatrical role in the lag until a new person is appointed , his unexampled role will give the HTA the chance to increase its capacity on gardening matters . The recent appointment of Wayne Brough as Technical Horticulture Manager , alongside Pippa Greenwood persist in as Horticulture Manager , shows how dedicated horticultural advice and expertness is being recognized by the HTA . Martin will focus on HTA citizens committee and group , as well as specific horticultural activity and project , including Plant Healthy .
