This retiring workweek we receive an email from Laura and Andy Berger , a youthful twosome that we first had the joy to meet at an candid house and garden class we held at the farm in early 2014 . When we first met them – the Berger ’s wanted many of the same affair we had want when we started our little garden and farm – to rise , make and keep much of our own food , eat healthy , and revel the total mental process .
Well , it is well-to-do to see that they are now be the dreaming ! Not only have they started a large raise row garden , which included growing their own plants from seed – but Laura now has a new blog(see : The GreeneBerger)that is spreading the word as well !
One of my favorite citation on their internet site comes from the first two lines describing their food philosophy:“Eat genuine food . Not food that has been man - made into something that we call food , but substantial food that come from the Earth . ”

Quite honestly , that says it all ! ( In fact – head over if you could and give them a ‘ Like ” on theGreeneberger Facebook page . I ca n’t accent how important it is forall of usto financial backing fellow gardeners ! )
There have been so many others that have select the same steps to turn and preserve their own food . We get emails daily from people from all corners of the humankind tell us about how they started their first garden , or have built a few container on their patio or porch to grow and enjoy their own refreshful tomato plant and peppers for the first time .
