Everyone enjoys springtime garden , with the wise foliage and colourful flowers that repeal our spirits after a farsighted , dull wintertime . And summer garden are glorious , of course , with an abundance of bold flush and productive color that utterly suit outdoor summertime activities . By August , though , heat and teetotal spell take their toll on spring and summer perennials ; garden can look well-worn and tattered .
Time to retreat indoors ? No way . Below are four industrial plant that keep the pastime going in August and into autumn .
1. ‘The Giant’ Autumn Crocus
Name:Colchicum‘The Giant’
Zones:4–8
size of it : flower 8 to 10 column inch tall , foliation 12 to 15 inch tall and 12 to 18 inches wide

Native Range : Japan
This refined , evergreen plant shrub open its first efflorescence in early fall . The 4 - column inch blooms have vestal white petal that are frizzle and crinkled and that surround a central boss of yellow stamens with a distinctive floral and earthy fragrance . The lax drug abuse of the branching gives a relaxed , informal feel to the bush and a gracefulness to the flowers that is not apparent on most spring - flower camellias . The dark gullible foliage allows the livid blooms to smooth during the inadequate fall days .
