Continuing on from yesterday , today we ’re touring a duet of other country in Jay Sifford ’s garden in Charlotte , North Carolina .
Jay says,“For the front garden , I transfer all of the sod two years ago . It was n’t doing well anyway , so I chose to employ my creativity to do something ‘ outside the box ’ .
“ I terrace the gravel pathway with a series of railroad necktie , since they spoke to the rustic nature of the house . I fetch the beds in secretive . Since my beds are rather realistic , I select to make the gravel nerve pathway moderately wide to make a sense of order and quad .

“ The bottom are satisfy with perennial . The only one-year I practice here is coleus . I rootle a hundred or so cuttings of different cultivar in my nursery under the orchidaceous plant benches every wintertime . ”
Jay , these area of the garden look so dissimilar from yesterday ’s woodland garden . It ’s all just with child . Thanks so much for sharing your garden with us . * * On Monday , we ’ll get a glimpse of what Jay creates for his customer – very interesting !
