I do n’t guess Mary nor I could ever imagine life without our garden , or our chickens and bee – or anything else that comes with our little 3 acre Old World Garden Farm .
But what make us both even happier is that each and every day , more people from every walking of life are gain the same thing . They want to institute their first garden , produce some of their own food , and even produce a few chickens for their own eggs .
There is something very particular about becoming responsible for the food on your table . In addition to the ever - rise cost of fresh food and produce , the simple fact is that almost everything purchased in the grocery memory now hold additives , preservatives – or has been spray with who know what . sum up in the utmost drouth that is now hitting in share of California – and it may harder than ever in the coming months to line up the fresh vegetable and fruits we all need .

The best part of it all – the planting and harvesting are great exercising as well !
I can honestly say we both really opt growing , cooking and deplete our own solid food over anything else . It ’s a simple-minded approach that is healthy and enjoyable at the same metre – and you’re able to never ask for more than that !
